St. Augusta Blanks Hawks

St. Augusta posted a shutout here Sunday as the failure of the Eden Valley team to come up with any base hits hurt the Hawks.

Jacob, pitching for St. Augusta, allowed only three hits in posting the win. Howie Jensen and Bob Theis pitched for the losers.

St. Augusta scored two runs in the second inning, one in the third, two in the sixth and four in the 9^th.

Winners of rods and reels given at Sunday’s game were David Meyer, Rt. 2 South Haven, and Norman Oien, St. Cloud.
